Interactive |

hugo selva storymapAfter weeks of gathering (and fighting for) public records in this case, I wrote an in-depth story on the series of events that left three dead and northbound Interstate-95 shut down for hours as investigators tried to piece together what just happened. Once I put the story together, I thought it would work well with an interactive map, so I built this with StoryMapJS. As well as planning out and designing how the finished product looked, I also edited the videos as well as the 911 calls. See the interactive here.

State of Water Promo

This video serves as the introduction and promotion video for a project I was a part of called The State of Water. The idea was to create something visually stunning while teasing our project with some basic facts and the ultimate idea about the state of water: what it is, where will it be in 20 years or will it be here in 20 years? I edited the video, recorded the audio, wrote the script and shot almost all of the b-roll for this video.
